Answers
1. Can I use PPPay.com for payments on my website?
Yes, you can use our Basic Checkout or Full Checkout systems depending on your needs.
2. What is the "Full Checkout" system?
The Full Checkout system allows payments for multiple items, product ids, multiple quantities of each item and also optional shipping costs to be added to the pricing. Full Checkout also has the option of the PPPay.com CBS (CallBackSystem) allowing for callbacks to your shopping cart software notifying you of successful or failed payment attempts thus letting you update your own records and databases in real time. The Full Checkout is available to Gold members only.
3. What is the "Basic Checkout" system?
The Basic Checkout system is a simpler checkout format available to Silver members. There are no facilities for multiple products, no facilities for multiple quantities, and no access to the PPPay.com CBS (CallBackSystem).
4. How do I start using the "Full Checkout"?
You will need to upgrade your account from Silver to Gold. Instructions for this can be found in the "Checkouts & CBS" section of the Members Centre. You will need to email us identification documents and pay the one-time set up fee of GBP(£) 29.99.
5. What are the charges?
Receiving fees will be the same as normal. There will be a one-time set up fee of GBP(£) 29.99 to upgrade your account to Gold status if you require "Full" checkout facilities.
6. What currencies can I use on my Checkout?
You can accept the same currencies as you can normally, British Pounds and Euros. You will need to specify which currency you wish to receive your payment in and your buyers will be able to pay you in that currency or from another currency (exchange rates will be shown to the buyer when they are going through the Checkout process).
7. Where are the in depth instructions?
Login to myPPPay and click on the "Checkout and CBS" link in the left menu to view the optional and required fields for both the Basic and Full checkouts.
