Answers
1. Why should I upgrade my status from Bronze to Silver ?

Bronze members cannot send Escrow payments and cannot withdraw to their debit or credit card. Their sending limits are greatly reduced also.

Bronze Members Limits

100 100 100 400 400 400 0 0 0
* There are NO receiving limits
* Instant & Escrow limits = internal + card payments

Upgrading to Silver means that you have greater sending, receiving and withdrawing capabilities, and also the facility to send via Escrow.

2. How do I complete the security verification check to upgrade from Bronze to Silver?

The first time you entered a card into PPPay.com we will have taken an initial security verification check fee from your card.

Please check your online card statement or telephone your card provider to confirm the exact amount debited. Once you have the amount debited login to your PPPay.com account and enter the amount into the security verification box provided. Once completed, your membership status will automatically be upgraded to Silver status membership.

Note: If you enter the incorrect amount you will have to go through the process again. Please be careful.

3. What is a Gold member ?
Gold members are members requiring higher purse limits. Potential Gold members need to undergo additional security verification checks.
4. What is an individual account ?
Individual account holders, be it Bronze or Silver, are restricted to a maximum of £90.00 or equivalent in their account at any one time due to the European Directive that came into effect in Oct 2002.

I need more flexibility than I am offered as an individual member

If you require more flexibility you will need to upgrade for free.

Go to your 'Edit Details' section in your Members Centre.
Merchant account members can receive and hold more than £90.00 or equivalent in their account.
Merchant : a person who buys and sells goods in large quantities

5. I'm trying to register a card but am being told my card is already in use within PPPay.

Once you enter a debit or credit card at PPPay.com it will be associated with the email address registered. Always remember your PPPay.com login email. If you come to use this card again at a later date under a different email it will be rejected.

Other cases are ... The user registers a card to their GBP account by mistake instead of their EUR account and while they are trying to send e-money via their EUR account they are told the card is already being used. The user is unable to see the card details under their EUR account because they are only visible via the GBP tab. Users should contact us directly to resolve this issue.

Another example is entering an errornous email address when using the checkout. For example, my email address is me@you.com .. I use the checkout to send e-money but enter my email address as me@yow.com . These are 2 totally different addresses. When you send the e-money via the checkout the e-money will be sent, but the emails you should receive detailing the payment and also your login details and email validation links won't reach you because you entered the wrong address. You then register via the Join button with your correct address to see what is going on, you login ok and can't see any reference to the payment you made. This is because the payment is registered to a totally different email address. Always double check the email address you are sending to and from.

6. Can I add another card to my account.

Each currency account within PPPay can have a total of two live or unverified cards. Expired cards and failed verification cards are not counted within this total.
